Our little angel Gabriella was born on 18 September 2012 after I went into pre-term labour and started having contractions. My cervix had already started dilating and the doctor booked me in immediatley and he was going to try and stop the contractions and see if my cervix would return to normal by the next day.
He was planning to put a stitch in the next morning.
Unfortunatley my waters broke during the night and there was nothing more they could do to stop the process and nothing they could do to save my little angel Gabriella.
The next morning after the scan, the doctor told me there was nothing else they could do and that I would lose the baby.
After a long diffcult day, I delivered Gabby at 16:35. The nurse took her away immediatley to clean her up and brought her back for us to see her and to say goodbye.
Gabby will be in our hearts forever, and I will never forget my perfect little angel.
I decided to write this blog so that I can share my thoughts and my feelings with her and so that I can continue to connect with her as we go through this journey together as a family.
